Are you curious about the different places and points of power on the planet?
Do you wonder which locations might bring forth deeper and higher states of consciousness?
Then look no further – in this article, you will learn about the Chakras of Earth, what they mean, and the different locations and energy that each one holds.
First off… what is a chakra?
Well, the word ‘’chakra’’ is Sanskrit for the word ‘’disk’’ or ‘’wheel’’.
We humans are said to have 7 chakras, also known as centers, moving up the center channel of our body, along the front of the spine.
The chakras represent and steward the journey which is taken as we move from the grosser, material aspects of our reality to the higher, more subtle expression of our humanness and where we connect to the divine self.
So it isn’t necessarily a determination of any kind of superiority – but more so a hierarchy of progression as we move through our evolutionary process as a human and as a soul.
You can see the chakras serving as a bridge, as well, between the material and the spiritual – with the heart being at the center.
So – there are the Chakras of Earth?
Yes, there are!
The Earth as an energetic grid system is connected by a series of ley lines, which are streams of energy that move across the geography of the planetary sphere – you can read more about that here.
And these ley lines have power points where the energy is anchored in, projected, and amplified.
The particular shapes, sizes, and structures of the sites at every specific location contribute to the unique way in which energy moves in these places – and you will see as you continue reading that each one is very unique in the place that it is located in, and in the form which it takes.
Chakras of Earth – Root Chakra – Mount Shasta
The root chakra, also known as ‘muladhara’ is the center that governs our sense of security, material foundation, ability to feel a sense of safety, and the identity which we embody on this planet.
Mount Shasta is a potentially active volcano sitting in the Siskiyou County of Northern California.
It serves as a powerful landmark – and a portal.
Many visitors (including myself) have experienced a vast amount of out-of-this-world experiences from spending time with this mountain.
There are camping sites around the base of the mountain, and also options to hike the mountains as well if you so desire to do so.
The root chakra also serves as a powerful grounding energy – and this mountain has been known to represent a significant grounding factor, to this part of the world, and to this planet.
The Native American tribes native to this area of California have also considered Mount Shasta as a sacred site with incredibly powerful energies.
Chakras of Earth – The Sacral Chakra – Lake Titicaca, Peru
This powerful lake sits on the eastern side of Peru, bordering the country of Bolivia.
The sacral chakra, also known as ‘svadhisthana’ governs our sexuality, creativity, fertility, and our ability to sense and feel ourselves and the world around us.
It is believed by the locals native to this land, this is the womb, where the Quechua God Wiracocha was birthed out of.
So you might be able to imagine the power that this portal might hold within it.
It sits amongst a few small islands that are inhabited by the residents surrounding the space.
People from near and far come to this sacred site to explore these lands, get a glimpse of these landscapes, and a feel for these sacred waters.
Chakras of the Earth – The Solar Plexus – Uluru & Kata Tjuta, Australia
The solar plexus is the nexus of our personal power, our drive, and our ambition, as well as our ability to use our will to manifest things into form.
Uluru & Kata Tjuta are a kind of unique rock formation, older than memory, serving as powerful beacons, and anchoring points of energy for our planet.
Uluru being the largest sandstone monolith on the planet – and Kata Tjuta being a series of 36 giant domes spanning over 12 miles.
These sites in particular have been considered sacred to the native Anangu people, who have lived in this area for more than 30,000 years.
Just imagine how old these rock formations have gone back in time.
Some consider the creation of these formations were contributed to by extraterrestrials or another species of humanity altogether.
Perhaps this is so, considering many of these sacred sites can not yet be explained as to how they came to be and even the matter of which they were created.
Chakras of Earth – The Heart Chakra – Stonehenge (Glastonbury And Shaftesbury), England
The heart chakra, also known as ‘anahata’, serves as a bridge.
A connecting point between the lower three chakras, and the upper three, a connecting point between the spiritual realm and the material realm.
The heart also connects us to one another and all life.
Scientist’s have also discovered that it has its own ‘’mind’’, and therefore, its own intelligence.
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument built about 5000 years ago.
It is a series of about 100 massive upright stones which are made of unidentified material, arranged in a circular layout.
It is said that whoever built this in prehistoric times went through decades of effort to not only shape the stones but also to carry and arrange the stones in the way in which they did.
There are theories that this hedge was a powerful place for many rites and rituals which had taken place in this area of the world.
Many people who have visited now have stated that they can viscerally feel a shift in energy when being in the field of these powerful stones and their formations.
If you ever find yourself in England, I highly recommend that you visit this sacred site. It will be an experience that you will never forget.
Chakras of the Earth – The Throat Chakra – The Pyramids of Giza, Egypt
The throat chakra, which is also known as the ‘vishuddha’, governs our ability to speak, express, share our voice, words, and also support our manifestations by way of communication.
The Great Pyramids of Giza are about 4500 years old. It is also said that they connect to and align with the 3 stars found on Orion’s belt, in the Orion constellation.
They were created to serve as magnificent tombs for the late royals of ancient Egypt, and have done just that.
The great pyramid of Giza is also often referred to as one of the 7 wonders of the world.
Many who have visited have been in awe at the formation of the structure, as well as of the history that is written and felt in the energy of these spaces.
The Third Eye Chakra – Somewhere in Western Europe
Also known as ‘ajna’, the third-eye chakra of the earth, is said to change location every 2160 years which means that it moves 12 times within the Earth’s precession of the equinox, which 26,000 years (the time it takes to move through one zodiac sign).
Some speculate that it is around the area of the heart chakra, in Glastonbury, U.K., but it could also be a bit further away from it as well.
The third eye governs our ability to see.
Not in the way which we see with our visual eye – but the way in which we see without an intuitive eye. Our mind’s eye. The seeing which goes beyond thought, but instead, pierces into awareness.
It is located about an inch above the eyebrows, at the center of the forehead.
It makes sense that an energy center this ethereal might move from place to place depending on the calibration of the planet and its energies.
The Crown Chakra of the Earth – Mount Kailash, Tibet
The crown chakra, also known as ‘sahasara’ is the center located at the crown of the head, and slightly above the head.
It is the place from where the divine, and other realms, channel into form through the centers beneath it.
One of the most sacred land formations known to Hindus, this mountain has even been forbidden from being climbed for the sake of its sanctity.
It is thought to be the abode of the God Shiva, and is revered by many all over the world.
One somewhat bizarre and synchronous fact about Mount Kailash is that the historic landmark in England, Stonehenge, is 6666 km away from here. The same dimension goes with the North Pole, which is also 6666 km from the Mount, and the distance doubles exactly with the South Pole, which is exactly 13332 km away from the peak.
What are the odds of that?
It has also been rumored that time speeds up on this mountain as well – those who have attempted to climb it and near it noticed a significant growth of things like hair and fingernail while traveling it, and after leaving it.
Perhaps it is a vortex that can bend, shift, and accelerate the movement and flow of matter.
Although it is not climbable, the base of it is still available to camp on.
So if you get a chance – I highly recommend that you check out this chakra of the earth.

Even if they are on the chakra list – they still have the ability to expand our awareness, and initiate transformation.
Places like Bali, Mexico, Machu Picchu in Peru, Iceland – and many more!
We have planetary ley lines going across the entire earth – therefore many places can serve as portals of activation.
Where would you like to go next?
‘Our planet also has particular power places where some of these ley lines intersect.
These locations are known as the earth’s chakras. Each location has a particular significance and a unique expression of energy as well – you can read more about each of the earth’s chakras here.’
